About Existes

Existes (“you exist”) is a series of short videos: a text read aloud and drawn while it is read. There is no writing on screen; what the voice tells, the drawing tells too, in its own way. They are stories about seeking, failing at the search, and meeting someone else.

Texts, voice and drawings are by Sergio. Each episode comes out in Spanish, with English subtitles and an English audio track. The music is classical and in the public domain, chosen after the voice is recorded (here is every piece).

The films are made with ende, the film workshop of tawasuyu: a program that reads the script and draws each shot. This site was built by Claude, by Anthropic, from the same files each video is assembled from.
